Bring on the boohoo Boutique collection
If you’re looking for something statement (but affordable) for the party season, look no further than boohoo’s brand new Boutique collection.
Swanky dinners in London’s trendy Hoxton aren’t something I go to everyday, so I jumped at the chance to join a host of fashion bloggers at the launch of boohoo’s gorgeous Boutique Collection. In a private room at the uber-smart Hoxton Bar & Grill I sipped strawberry cocktails and ate an indulgent three course supper (we’re talking scallops and chorizo, Chateaubriand and chocolate brownie bites with hot chocolate sauce) alongside the likes of The Very Simon G, Boy Meets Fashion and Alex Loves.
As well as gossiping and stuffing our faces, we also enjoyed a short presentation of the key picks before being let loose on the goodies, free to touch, admire and try on the pieces in a collection that marks a new direction for the online fashion retailer.

The Boutique collection is certainly one to consider for Christmas – and beyond. Good quality pieces are offered at fantastic price points (expect to pay around £30-£45 for a jacket or blazer, about £25 for an embellished jumper and £20-£25 for standout tops, shorts and skirts). The wardrobe must-haves on offer include truly stunning trophy jackets in brocade, tweed and tapestry, daring maxi dresses with cut out details, beautifully beaded tops and dresses, stunning slim fit printed trousers and snuggly faux fur jackets with lashings of style.

Everyone at the event was bowled over by the collection – we all drooled over a sheer vest top with heavy beading and I got home and immediately ordered a tapestry jacket with pearl trim that I’ll be wearing over dresses and with anything from skater skirts to skinny jeans.
After a gorgeous meal, and lots of banter, the night was an undoubted success; but the star of the show was a brilliant collection of clothing that boohoo.com has truly hit out of the park. Shop the boohoo boutique collection here.
